Servicing can include replacement of belts, gears, capacitors, cleaning and re-lubricating all internal mechanisms. Making copies of your personal tapes to share with friends and family is a quick and simple process with high-speed dubbing. Best of all, Super-Density Permalloy Heads provide maximum flux density to reproduce audio with maximum dynamic range.
The TC-WE475 also features dual auto-reverse playback so you won’t have to manually flip either cassette when one side is complete. You’ll also never lose your place with two electronic counters and the Multi-AMS Track Search lets you automatically scan up to nine tracks ahead. Sony TC-WE475 Cassette Deck
I am totally pleased with my purchase. The unit arrived quickly and in great shape. The packaging was the best I've ever seen and the tape deck looked almost as good as new. So far I've tried play back on both decks and everthing worked great, I tried recording on deck B and it worked perfectly. I have play many of my tapes with great success. I have had a component stereo system for over sixty years and most of the tapes I have played are over fifty years old and have played perfectly. I am a great fan of older stereo equipment and have had to replace some of my equipment as it failed and couldn't be repaired. The replacement tape cassette deck has pleased me greatly. If any more of my older equipment dies I will certainly go back to Porter Electronics for help.

Plays as advertised
Since this tape deck is a recent purchase, I can only report that it works well SO FAR. I won't be able to comment on its long-term reliability for quite some time.

Deck arrived in good condition. A few scratches on the top of the unit otherwise it works great. Both A and B play nice sounding music. It was a worthwhile risk to buy refurbished since a new Tascam or Teac deck currently costs $500-$600.

TC-WE475 Cassette Deck
Very nice unit and works very well. Looks new in the front and only a couple of minor scuff marks on the top that my receiver covers. Very pleased with it.

Very nice unit and works very well. The face of it doesn't have a mark on it,looks new. Has a couple of faint marks on the top, but are covered by my receiver. I'm very pleased.
