Servicing can include replacement of belts, gears, capacitors, cleaning and re-lubricating all internal mechanisms. Very nice deck
Diving into retro fun with my Fiio cassette player so I obviously needed a killer deck to create mix tapes right? This Pioneer unit is super clean and exactly as described! I’m getting another soon!

If you are looking for older refurbished Stereo equipment this is the place, these people really care about their customers, the First unit I received had a minor issue with it I called them about the issue and they replaced the unit immediately. Great customer service.

Pioneer Cassette Deck
Overall I'm happy with the cassette deck. The Dolby B noise reduction does not work. Have not tried Dolby C. Tapes sounded perfectly horrible with Dolby B on. Turned noise reduction off completely and tapes played and sounded great. The B deck does not work unfortunately. But that's ok. I only use the playback deck 98% of the time anyway. The packaging was superb upon arrival at my home. The box and the deck arrived in excellent condition. I would definitely buy from Porter Electronics again.

Pioneer CT-W404R Dual Cassette Deck
The item arrived in excellent condition. The shipping box was undamaged, there was plentiful stuffing on the inside so the unit arrived undamaged. The unit replaced another Pioneer tape deck that had worked for decades but now worn out with no possibility of me being able to obtain replacement repair parts. The unit functions perfectly, I was able to purchase it at a very good price, and Porter Electronics was also able to provide me with a owners manual so that I could properly connect it to my layout and use it properly. Enjoying my music once again and I intend to return to Porter Electronics in the future for some additional equipment needs.
