I went with Porter Electtonics because of the quality checks they do and their warranty they offer so it made me comfortable to purchase a refurbished VCR. The product has exceeded my expectations and works great! Totally recommend Porter Electronics!

Also used a large very strong rare earth magnet to erase the tapes prior to disposal. Worked perfectly and no problems! One should also consider buying a good video editor to trim, clip, splice, add text, etc. The folks at Porter are very professional.

HAD IT HOOKED UP AND WORKING IN ABOUT 20 MIN. I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED BY THE PICTURE QUALITY, IT REALLY LOOKS GOOD ON MY HI DEF SONY TV. IF YOUR CONSIDERING A VCR, THIS ONE IS A GOOD BET.
