excellent unit!!
I initially went looking for a local place to repair my Sony dvd/vcr and didn't find a place near me but did find Porter Electronics which had a refurbished unit identical to mine. They had it shipped and it arrived in perfect condition in just under 72 hours. I am now able to play a whole collection of tapes that in most cases are not available for viewing otherwise. Kudos!!
