Product Details - The Extron MPA 181T Integrated Mini Power Amplifier provides 18 watts of 70 volt mono amplification for speaker systems in classrooms and other applications requiring compact, economical audio solutions. This power amplifier is designed primarily for 70 volt constant voltage speaker distribution systems, and delivers 18 watts rms output. Alternatively, the MPA 181T can output 14 watts rms into 4 ohms or 8 watts rms into 8 ohms. It is an ideal step-up from a basic classroom system utilizing built-in video projector speakers.

The MPA 181T accepts balanced and unbalanced stereo or mono audio input signals, and provides a summed mono audio output for 70 volt speaker systems, or 4 ohm/8 ohm speakers. The amplifier provides full output power from unbalanced, -10 dBV inputs such as CD players and VCR sources. Front panel controls are provided for bass, treble, and input level. The front panel also features a clip limiter switch to prevent distortion from overdriven inputs. The MPA 181T features remote control capability for volume adjustment and muting.
