The exact unit I ordered came. Wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap for safe shipment. Simple easy to read instructions were included in case I had a problem. My grandkids have enjoyed having it. We have introduced the kids to great older films. This unit works flawless. If you are considering purchasing from Porter, I highly recommend it.

VERY GOOD. It took a few minutes But, I managed to go through ALL operations without any serious problems and the unit Functions very well with only one minor short coming that my original SONY did not have and that is when going into record mode using the DvD, You must be ready to RECORD "On-The-Spot" - as it will NOT allow you to "PAUSE" and THEN SET THE UNIT TO BEGIN RECORDING DURING a Live Event being Broadcast.
