Product Description - Here's the Sony "give and take" machine. The sleekly handsome M-2000 "takes" dictation, records meetings, interviews, even phone conversations, using convenient microcassettes in two speeds. Then it "gives" what's been recorded, playing it back for transcribing or just listening. The M-2000 has an automatic backspace that replays the last few seconds for transcribing confirmation, and variable playback speed for greater transcribing accuracy. Compact design needs little desk space. Foot control and listening device are included.

Works great, very good price, and if it holds up a reasonable amount of time I'll raise it to five stars.
This transcriber is a bargain compared to many of the others on the market. With all the models I have used however, from various manufacturers, I have experienced problems with the foot pedals over time and with the rewind features of the transcribers. This however was very moderately priced and if I receive two or three years of good service I will consider it a fine bargain and rate it five stars.I intend to order another one now for back up.
