enjoy it. It blacks out at times but believe it's due to an old tape. When i clean it, it eventually comes back!

So far I am very happy with this purchase. Received it promptly, packaged well, came in great condition. Thanks partially to the printed instructions included, I had no trouble hooking it into my older (but still a flat screen) TV. I can't comment about the recording because I only purchased it for playing back some of my VHS tapes I just didn't want to give up. It performs as good as brand new and I felt the price was fair.
