Panasonic DMR-EZ27K Up-Converting 1080p DVD-Recorder with ATSC (Digital Tuner) - Used Item IN STOCK and in good condition. All items have been previously used, but have been fully tested and include a 90 day exchange warranty. Since this is a used Item, it may show some minor signs of use but should not affect performance. Manual can be downloaded below.
Product Details: If you're in the market for a dedicated DVD recorder, the Panasonic DMR-EZ27EB might well be the solution you are looking for. It's a DVD player/recorder with a built-in Free view receiver, allowing you to record TV shows to DVD, as well as burn footage from a number of other sources, such as a camcorder, via DV or S-Video in. The EZ27EB is not a bad looker. It's a little larger than most modern DVD players, but the black frame will fit nicely into most lounges. It's unusual because it up scales regular material to 1080p, via its HDMI output -- sound is spot on, and picture quality is pretty good in practice. We watched our special edition DVD of The Big Lebowski on a 42-inch Toshiba LCD and thought the result was easy on the eye. Color was decent, and the picture had plenty of detail.

Arrived safely. Porter tech support reacted in timely manner when remote and machine weren't synced. All working properly even with 16k discs. Have recommended Porter to friends.

Sooo happy!!
Even though this company is so far away from me, I'm so glad I went with them! Very nice and helpful! The first DVD recorder had a problem with reading the disks but they send me a return label and within a short time I had a different one and this one works just fine! The 3 layers of bubble wrap really do the trick! You guys are the best!! I'm glad someone still refurbishes these oldtimers and does a great job with them! Thank you!!

Nice unit and fairly easy to program.
This is the second identical unit that I have owned and if this one works as well as the first, then I will be well pleased!
