Love it!
I love this thing! It was obviously a quality product. Kodak's website indicates the Model 5400 was manufactured beginning around 1981 (I'd have guessed earlier, maybe the early to mid 1970's). The power cord is long enough to reach a convenient outlet; the remote cord is long enough to reach the couch; and the bits and pieces stow into little compartments whose doors latch properly. It all adds up to great design and execution. It was also remanufactured by people who obviously know and care about what they're doing: everything works pefectly. So far, I have shown at least 300 nearly 60-year-old slides without so much as a single jam or misfeed. WORTH EVERY CENT! I wish now I had gotten an even fancier one, where the remote will also let me adjust the focus. If you're considering getting an old fashioned slide projector, my advice is to do it now while you still can!
