Works as it should
Don’t know about DVDs but VCR plays n records as it should. Having a bit of trouble getting the channel scanning to work, but I think it’s signal strength.

For a refurbished item, the player is in very good conditions. The packaging was excellent, and the customer service great. Rebecca was a pleasure to deal with. I unpacked the player, plugged it in, and I was able to watch "old" vhs videos that I haven't seen for years, right away... I am thrilled.
